Oil prices retreated on Friday, but remained on track for a weekly gain of almost 9% after soaring above $100 a barrel for the first time in months. Brent crude oil futures, the global benchmark, were down by 2.4% to trade at $105.03 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate was down 2.75% to $99.66 per barrel.
