Update 8: Warner Bros. Discovery has signed a deal with Paramount valued at around $110 billion. It now has to face regulation and anti-trust investigations, chiefly in the EU as well as in the State of California, where State Attorney General Rob Bonta will be investigating the deal. The deal was signed with an agreed-upon share price of $31/share, far outpacing Netflix’s bid of $27.75 per share. A woman was arrested on Sunday for firing multiple shots at the Beverly Hills home of pop music star Rihanna, Los Angeles Police Department officials say. Officers were sent to the area at around 1:15 p.m. after learning of shots being fired, according to the LAPD. Upon arrival, they located a suspect and took them into custody without further incident. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City International Airport terminal reopened Sunday afternoon, hours after it was evacuated while authorities looked into a potential threat, the Kansas City Aviation Department said.Airport spokesperson Jackson Overstreet said in an email shortly after 2 p.m. that the terminal was reopened. The Navy is no longer allowed to shroud its criminal trials in secrecy and must provide public access to hearings and records, a federal judge ruled last month.
