Part the First: A Day in the Life of the Working Class.  When members of the Professional Managerial Class speak of the working class, seldom do they know what they are talking about.  This is news only to said denizens of the PMC.  While I am a paid-up member of the PMC now, I worked for an extended period after high school in a heavy chemical plant (where the highest paying union wage was about $180,000 per year adjusted for inflation) that is now long gone to parts unknown, leaving behind a large Superfund site.  I learned a lot from…

It’s been just over a decade since the release of Grand Theft Auto V, which is why it’s no surprise that the excitement for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI is at a fever pitch. That’s wild. But we still have a long way to go until the game comes out in 2025, with a…

Dodgers lefty Tarik Skubal spent the first 6 ½ seasons of his MLB career with the Tigers. Friday, he returned to the mound in Detroit’s Comerica Park for the first time since being traded just under a month ago. He went out and did what he’s done on that mound many times: Looked like one of the best pitchers in baseball.Skubal’s final line: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 7 K.He did not figure in the decision, as the game was tied 1-1 when he departed. Goodbye Karoline Leavitt, we wish we’d known you less. After 585 days serving as President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary — the second longest tenure of the five he’s had while in office — Leavitt is stepping down from her role to spend more time with her two young children.  Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Leavitt described her departure as “bittersweet.”  “I’ll miss you guys. I know that’s probably not something anyone would expect me to say, but obviously it’s been great working with all of you,” she told a gaggle of White House correspondents. What “I think people don’t realize…

BELGRADE, Serbia — Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic on Friday accused a war crimes U.N. court in The Hague of “uncivilized behavior” for refusing to grant an early release for the former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic, who died Thursday at the age of 84 while serving a life sentence for his crimes.Mladic’s family and the Serbian government had requested several times that Mladic be released, citing his age and ailing health. He died a week after the U.N. rejected his latest request for release on humanitarian grounds.“That was uncivilized behavior, unprecedented and without excuse,” Vucic said. “We can now…
