President tells Iran government «you’ll be living in Hell» if they don’t reopen Strait of Hormuz, «Praise to be Allah»
President Donald Trump welcomed Easter Sunday by warning the Iran government to “open the Fuckin’ Strait [of Hormuz] you crazy bastards.”
In a Truth Social post that preceded his actual Easter Sunday video, Trump also dropped a rare presidential f-bomb, writing, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – Just WATCH!”
Trump closed out his tirade by writing “Praise be to Allah.”
The tone of the message was jarring even to some Republicans, as former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote on social media, “Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.”
Anthony Scaramucci added, “It was at this point that our Founders thought the best thing to do would be to remove a mad man who has the executive office. It became more formalized with the 25th amendment, but more people now should be calling for this man’s removal.”
Trump had previously set a Tuesday deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end its blockade of ships through the oil route, otherwise the military would take aim at Iran’s power plants and bridges.
“If they don’t come through, if they want to keep it closed, they’re going to lose every power plant and every other plant they have in the whole country,” Trump told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday.
